Terms of use

Rowsta is software that organizations, such as schools, creches and residential estates, use to run their work and to serve their people. You use the Rowsta app because an organization has invited you: as a parent, resident, student or member of staff.

Your organization decides what you can see and do in its app, and can change or end your access.

• Keep your password to yourself. You are responsible for what is done with your account.
• Tell your organization or us straight away if you think someone else has used it.
• Give accurate information, and keep it up to date.

Do not:

• use Rowsta to break the law, or to harass, threaten or harm anyone;
• try to see information you are not meant to see, or get around Rowsta’s security;
• upload anything harmful, such as viruses, or anything you have no right to share;
• copy, resell or overload the service.

We may suspend an account that breaks these rules.

What you add to Rowsta stays yours (or your organization’s). You let us store and show it so the service works. How we handle personal information is explained in our privacy policy at rowsta.com/privacy.

Organizations are responsible for what they enter, including having the right to enter information about children and other people.

Fees, rent and service charges shown in Rowsta are owed to your organization, not to Rowsta. Rowsta shows the amounts and records payments for the organization. Questions about an amount go to the organization.

Where an organization offers online payment, the payment is handled by a payment provider under its own terms. The Rowsta app itself sells nothing.

We work to keep Rowsta running and safe, but we cannot promise it will always be available or free of errors. We may improve, change or stop features; if a change takes away something important, we will tell you first where we can.

Rowsta is provided as it is. As far as the law allows, we are not responsible for indirect losses, or for decisions an organization makes using Rowsta. Nothing in these terms limits rights you have under consumer protection law that cannot be limited.

You can stop using Rowsta at any time and delete your account in the app (Account, then Delete my account). Your organization can end your access. We can end or suspend access if these terms are broken.

These terms are governed by the laws of the Federal Republic of Nigeria. If you live in Ghana, you also keep the protections Ghanaian law gives you.

We may update these terms. If a change matters, we will tell you in the app or by email before it takes effect. Using Rowsta after that means you accept the new terms.
